Hummingbird

Many of my glass artworks are inspired by places I have visited. This panel was inspired by flying over the Nazca Lines in Peru. These are large shapes drawn into the desert floor which can only be viewed properly by flying above them in tiny planes. One of the most famous Nazca images is the Hummingbird. Here I have represented the Nazca hummingbird in fused glass and framed it with a border of stained glass.
