Mosaics

A couple of stained glass mosaics which were a good way of using up small glass offcuts, but were in other ways extremely time-consuming! They gave me the chance to experiment with geometric patterns which were inspired by Moorish art and architecture I had seen on my travels in Morocco and Southern Spain. The sharp right angles of these designs would be very difficult to achieve through using either traditional leadwork or contemporary fused glass. But they lend themselves perfectly to mosaic making.
